After the meal, she offered to pay as &#8216;something different to be nice&#8217; because she had &#8216;a really good time&#8217;. Steve thanked her for her generous offer and said he&#8217;d pay for the meal on their next date in return.<\/p>\n<p>During the second date, Steve did not hold back on ordering multiple items for the menu. &#8220;It was like a feast, it lasted several hours,&#8221; Judy told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/lifestyle\/relationships\/dating\/womans-ultimate-revenge-on-cheap-date\/news-story\/6d68bab4800eba00c4c0445d208c764c\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Ghosted<\/a> podcast. But, he reiterated his intention to pay for the meal. However, when the bill came, he claimed he&#8217;d forgotten his wallet at home. When it came to pay, I was thinking \u2018I hope he doesn\u2019t find a reason not to pay\u2019 and, if he did, I&#8217;d teach him a lesson.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When it came time to pay for the meal, Steve told Judy there was &#8216;something wrong&#8217; with his account and she would have to pay the \u00a3125 bill for a third time, but she already had a plan B.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I laughed and said my wallet was in my car,&#8221; she said. \u201cSo I left and never returned. I did a runner! I was laughing the whole time, I&#8217;ve never done that in my life.
