What we used to get away with growing up just wont fly in this day and age. I usually attribute that to the overly-sensitive world we are living in today but sometimes (just sometimes) I totally get it.<\/p>\n<p>This instance comes under the name, <i>Bridalplasty<\/i>. Now, I used to watch this show religiously, with wide eyes and an average amount of shock. Fast forward almost ten years since the show debuted (it only lasted one season) and I am mind-blown at the concept.<\/p>\n<p>Getting married, for anyone, is a pretty big deal. And, for a bride especially, the main focus on your big day is how you will look. The average bride will opt for a trip to the salon, a blow-out and a manicure, but some take more extreme measures.<\/p>\n<h3>Like, full-blown plastic surgery<\/h3>\n<div class=\"vplayer\"><iframe allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3S3VLe0Mugk\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The E! reality show\u2019s premise involved twelve brides competing for the chance to have plastic surgery. Prior to the start of the \u201cgame\u201d, each bride met with a plastic surgeon to construct a list of procedures they would like done before their wedding day. Each episode showed the women participating in wedding-themed challenges, with the winner getting one of the procedures on her list. But, this takes the (wedding) cake.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks <i>Bridalplasty,<\/i> for providing an example of how we\u2019re evolving as a race. Never.
