Photos and videos have been circulating on social media of the American symbol of freedom, followed by a statement by the Jeddah Municipality through Arabic media.<\/p>\n<p>The statue, which is a part of Jeddah Season, is intended to be a temporary activation to celebrate July 4, America\u2019s Independence day, with the American visitors. \u201cThe statue of Liberty, currently located on Al Hamra Corniche, is part of a temporary event and will be removed as soon as it ends,\u201d read one municipality statement. Jeddah Season has plenty in store for its visitors including a series of events and entertainment gigs. The lady with the torch symbolizes freedom for the country.
