Yep, it&#8217;s 2019, people! Unfortunately some of us seem to struggle with the concept that times are changing and time itself, is moving ever forward. And, those people are the ones refusing to let society progress.<\/p>\n<p>In an example of this hindrance on advancement, <i>ABC News<\/i> anchor, Lara Spencer had a pretty significant hiccup whilst on air over the weekend. During a segment, Spencer began talking about Prince George&#8217;s hectic schedule, detailing his new classes which involve religious studies, poetry, computer programming and&#8230; &#8220;Bah-lay.&#8221; Which, some of us may recognise as ballet.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst trying to contain her laughter, she then continued with, \u201cPrince William says George absolutely loves ballet. I have news for you, Prince William. We\u2019ll see how long that lasts.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>The on-air &#8220;oops&#8221; that sparked outrage across social media<\/h3>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Lara Spencer, who mocked a little boy for studying ballet, is just another symptom of the dumbing down of America and our generalized lack of appreciation for art. Especially when your giggling comes from a place where you are reinforcing toxic masculinity in that it makes a boy less of a male if he enjoys things that society deems as &#8220;feminine&#8221; for no reason at all.
