The academy award winning actor is heading back to his alma mater as a professor at the University of Texas.<\/p>\n<p>McConaughey, who has been acting for the last two decades and has given audiences spectacular performances in <i>True Detective<\/i>, <i>A Time To Kill<\/i>, and <i>Interstellar<\/i> has previously also been a guest instructor at the university.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s very little that this versatile actor cannot do. With a curriculum designed by himself, one which focuses on the upcoming film <i>The Gentlemen, <\/i>McConaughey is extremely excited about returning to class.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201c<\/i>It\u2019s the class I wish I would have had when I was in film school. Working in the classroom with these students gives me a chance to prepare them. Making movies, turning words on paper into film, is both a science and art \u2014 no matter the time or generation. The elements of truth and genuine joy for the process are timeless.
