From <i>Transformers <\/i>to <i>Jennifer&#8217;s Body,<\/i> the characters she&#8217;s typically portrayed have been predominantly physically appealing and she&#8217;s adopted a &#8216;femme fatale&#8217; identity.<\/p>\n<p>But, according to a recent interview, this has come with some major drawbacks for Fox. She said that she felt her experiences were brushed off because she was &#8220;ahead of her time&#8221; telling them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel like I was sort of out and in front of the #MeToo movement before the #MeToo movement happened, I was speaking out and saying, &#8216;Hey, these things are happening to me and they&#8217;re not OK,'&#8221; Fox explained. &#8220;And everyone was like, &#8216;Oh well, f**k you.
