Elizabeth Holmes is its star.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The &#8220;situation&#8221; is that Holmes <a href=\"https:\/\/me.mashable.com\/tech\/3613\/elizabeth-holmes-trial-whats-going-on-with-the-theranos-foun\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">faces civil and criminal lawsuits<\/a> saying that she defrauded patients, investors, and the public with untrue claims about her company&#8217;s ability to perform blood tests with a drop of blood from a finger prick.
