The feature will launch &#8220;gradually over the next six months.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With the change, Instagram is introducing Facebook-like controls for apps that request access to your account. Last month, the social network revealed that it had removed <a href=\"https:\/\/me.mashable.com\/tech\/7136\/facebook-has-suspended-tens-of-thousands-of-apps-for-policy-violations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;tens of thousands&#8221;<\/a> of apps from its platform for breaking its rules, as a result of its investigations following the Cambridge Analytica scandal. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Third-party services have also posed problems for Instagram in the past.
